Decisions...

So I know it’s been forever since I last posted a journal here, or even an entry, you can expect an influx of submissions soon. Promise.

Lately I’ve been miserable, not upset, not sad, not mad, just miserable. I wallowed in my own misfortune for far too long, I’ve let happy moments pass me by and spent days moping around, and it’s come to an end. I’ve decided.

Decision about Work.

I’ve made my decision… truly I have. I applied for a job at a local company as an eMarketing Graphic Designer, which I would love to do and am very excited about. The only thing is I have no idea when they are interviewing, I’ve been going crazy over not hearing from them at all since I heard about the job opening in Mid December and sent them my cover letter and resume package over a week ago. I’m not sure how business’s do their hiring, but it makes me nervous to have not heard a word from any place I’ve applied. I’m still holding onto the idea of working there and I decided to give them a call by the end of this week and inquire about the status of their application/interview process and to make sure they received my package. I hope that this at least leads to an interview. If this falls through I’ll work at Starbucks or Subway, whatever get’s the bills paid and work on freelance as much as possible.

Decision about School.

If I get the job or not, it doesn’t effect the next decision I’ve made. I am going back to school. Whether it’s part time, full time, online or on campus, I’m going to do it. I love what I do and I believe to truly reach my full potential and to obtain a decent career in the world today I need a bachelor’s degree.

Decision about Home.

I still want and feel I need to move out of the house I am currently living in, and I’ve decided to continue trying to work out some way to live at the apartments I applied for and was subsequently denied due to credit.

I WILL get a co-signer, I WILL get a job, and I WILL go back to school. I WILL be happy, and I simply refuse to even consider otherwise. So there’s that… I’ll keep you posted on my progress and make sure to post some fun and interesting things here too!
